RAW SHEA BUTTER (YELLOW & WHITE)

The African Raw Shea Butter is originally from West African countries. Some call it “Karate“, and “Nkuto” for others. The Shea tree cannot grow in all places. The nuts are crushed and boiled for a period of time. Oil is extracted from the process and gently scooped into a container – preferably a calabash. When it cools down, it turns solid and ready for use. Some local producers use the raw African Shea butter for food preparation, thus it is good for consumption, and it serves well for that purpose for those within the tropics. In general, Shea butter is a very useful product. It is good for dry skin, relaxes muscles, enriches the hair, good for minor arthritis and some people say it helps those with stretch marks too.
